The remodel of this mid century home, included the removal of walls, to open living spaces between kitchen and dining areas, along with the placement of an extra large kitchen island to create a central focal point. A secondary feature-the dinette area, maintains the original colorful wall of glass along with new swank retro design details and bench seating for extra storage. The master bath foot print increased, by reducing the master closet. More images of this project can be seen at the ID by Gwen project feature page on Houzz.
